“ Shavesong is a video piece, a musical system existing only through a visual process. Here, it's an imaginary choir, windowed with electric razors. A choir that repeats its song by scratching a background: human skin, feeding the process that flattens it and then puts it in boxes. “

Desktopsongs is a cycle of video pieces questioning our relationship with technology. Each work - inspired by desktop movie practice - is a musical system dependent on a visual process, tending towards an economy of the device.
